The City of Asheville has made a press release stating that they will be returning to the virtual meeting format amid a rising number of COVID-19 cases in our community.
There is one exception stated in the release:
The August meeting for Historic Resources Commission (HRC) (August 11) has been legally published as an in-person meeting in the newspaper so it will remain in person for this meeting.

Policies related to making comments are returning to what they were before the city resumed in-person meetings. The city will post instructions for making comments alongside the meeting agenda in the days leading up to a given meeting.
