With local cases on the rise and a new more-contagious-but-possibly-less-deadly variant of COVID-19 spreading around the world, the Buncombe County Board of Comissioners are at another crossroads with our county's mask mandate. The mandate, which was most recently extended in early October, officially ends today - November 30, 2021.
According to the Citizen-Times, the Commissioners are considering another extension. Will people take it more seriously this time? Only time will tell...
